After-sales support / post-delivery service

Laser Marking Machine After-Sales Service & Technical Support

After delivery, Zhuorui supports machine installation and startup guidance, operator training, documentation, remote diagnosis, warranty handling, replacement-parts coordination and distributor support. Warranty duration, on-site service, response commitments, freight and other commercial terms are confirmed for the specific order rather than treated as universal promises.

  • Installation and startup guidance
  • Operator training and documentation
  • Remote technical diagnosis
  • Warranty and replacement-parts coordination

Support after delivery

What support is available after a laser marking machine is delivered?

The purpose of after-sales support is to help the customer bring the delivered machine into use, operate it correctly, diagnose problems efficiently and obtain the right service or replacement-part response when an issue occurs.

  • Installation and startup guidance: help the customer prepare the site, connect the delivered machine correctly and complete the first controlled startup for the confirmed configuration.
  • Operator training: normal startup and shutdown, focusing and marking workflow, file handling, parameter backups, routine operating checks and the documentation needed to run the delivered system.
  • Remote diagnosis: review the machine model and configuration, reported symptom, photos or video, software screen or alarm information, and when the problem started before deciding the next technical action.
  • Warranty handling: review the reported failure against the confirmed machine configuration and the warranty terms agreed for the order.
  • Replacement parts: identify the exact part and confirm compatibility before availability, price, shipping, lead time or an approved substitution is confirmed.
  • Distributor support: align manuals, training materials, installed-base information and escalation routes with the agreed distributor program.

Two different support situations

New-machine handoff and fault diagnosis follow different paths

A new machine that is being installed does not need the same process as a machine that has already been operating and develops a fault. Separating the two makes the next action clearer for the operator and for technical support.

Path 1: Installation, startup and operator training

Use this path when the machine has just arrived or when a new operator needs to take over an existing system.

STEP 01Confirm the delivered system

Check the machine model, voltage, laser route, controller, software, accessories and the items included with the order.

STEP 02Prepare the installation site

Review space, electrical supply, grounding, extraction, work area, part handling and any local safety requirements that affect setup.

STEP 03Start and verify basic operation

Follow the agreed startup sequence, establish the focus reference, confirm software communication and make a controlled first mark.

STEP 04Train the operator and hand over records

Cover normal operation, file and parameter handling, routine checks, backup information and the contact route for issues that require support.

Path 2: Remote diagnosis when a problem occurs

Remote diagnosis works best when the first message gives enough information to identify the exact machine, understand the symptom and see what the operator sees. Zhuorui can then decide the most appropriate next check, corrective action, part review or escalation route.

STEP 01Identify the machine and configuration

Provide the machine model, serial number where available, laser configuration, software version and any relevant accessory or motion module.

STEP 02Describe the fault and when it started

Explain what is not working as expected, when the issue first appeared, whether it is constant or intermittent, and whether anything changed immediately beforehand.

STEP 03Send photos or video

Show the affected machine area, the operating sequence or the marking result so technical support can see the condition instead of relying only on a written description.

STEP 04Show the software screen or alarm

Send a screenshot or clear photo of the relevant software page, alarm message, status screen or settings that are directly related to the problem.

STEP 05Zhuorui determines the next action

Using the machine record and the evidence provided, technical support narrows the issue to software, process, configuration, connection or a likely serviceable module, then recommends the next appropriate check, correction, part review, return route or engineering escalation.

STEP 06Verify the result

After the agreed action is completed, repeat the affected function or marking task and confirm whether normal operation has been restored or further escalation is required.

Support terms explained

Technical support, warranty and replacement parts are not the same thing

Separating these three topics avoids a common purchasing mistake: assuming that every technical question is a warranty claim, or that every replacement part is automatically covered by warranty.

Technical support

Technical support helps identify operating, software, process, configuration or machine problems and determine the next safe check. Receiving technical support does not by itself define whether a repair or part is commercially covered.

Warranty handling

A warranty claim is reviewed against the confirmed machine, the reported failure condition and the warranty terms agreed for that order. Duration, exclusions, labor, freight and return conditions should be confirmed in writing rather than inferred from a general website statement.

Replacement parts

When a part is required, Zhuorui first verifies the part identity and compatibility with the shipped machine. Availability, price, lead time, shipping and any approved substitution are then confirmed for the request.

Component-specific conditions

Laser sources, galvos, controllers, chillers and other specialist components may have manufacturer-specific specifications or warranty conditions. For a Zhuorui-supplied machine, those conditions should be reviewed through the agreed machine service and warranty process rather than treated as a reason for the buyer to determine responsibility alone.

Technical-support checklist

What should you prepare for faster technical support?

Start with the machine model and configuration, the exact symptom, when it began, clear photos or video, and the relevant software screen or alarm information. These inputs help Zhuorui narrow the problem and decide the next appropriate action without turning the support process into a generic maintenance checklist.

Before shipment

What after-sales terms should buyers confirm before the machine ships?

The most important after-sales expectations should be written into the quotation, order record or service agreement while the machine configuration is still being finalized.

Installation supportRemote startup guidance, site requirements, any requested on-site work, and which local installation tasks remain the buyer’s responsibility.
Training formatWho needs training, language, remote or other agreed format, operating topics and whether follow-up or refresher training is included.
DocumentationMachine manual, software information, saved parameters, accessory references and any project-specific documents that must be supplied with the machine.
Warranty termsDuration, covered items, exclusions, claim evidence, labor, return procedure and any component-specific conditions that apply to the confirmed machine.
Freight and return responsibilitiesWho pays shipping or return freight in the relevant service situations and whether a defective part must be returned before or after replacement approval.
Spare-parts arrangementRecommended critical spares where appropriate, normal availability, compatibility confirmation, substitution approval and how replacement parts will be identified later.
Service contact and escalationWhich sales or service contact should receive support requests, what information should be sent first, and how distributor or engineering escalation is handled when needed.

Next step

Confirm the support scope before ordering—or use your assigned service contact after delivery

Planning a new machine? Confirm installation support, training, documentation, warranty, on-site requirements and spare-parts expectations together with the machine quotation.

Already operating a Zhuorui machine? Contact your assigned Zhuorui sales or service representative and include the machine serial/configuration plus the symptom, alarm, photos, video or logs relevant to the issue.

Useful support inputs: machine model and configuration / serial number where available / exact symptom / when the issue started / clear photos or video / relevant software screen or alarm message / recent changes / part or accessory information when relevant.
